15 January 2026 – Major Inspector Transfers
The Police Establishment Board of Hyderabad City Police has ordered the transfer and posting of 54 Inspectors of Police with immediate effect. �
These changes are part of an administrative reshuffle aimed at strengthening law and order, traffic duties and specialised units across the city. �

Among those transferred, several officers have been assigned as Station House Officers (SHOs) in different police stations such as Filmnagar, Sultan Bazar Traffic Police, Tappachabutra, Banjara Hills, Malakpet Traffic, etc. �
A number of inspectors were directed to immediately report to the Commissioner’s Office for posting compliance. �
👉 These orders are issued under the authority of the Police Establishment Board and take effect immediately, so affected officers must report to their new postings without delay.
