CYBER CRIME & ANTI-DRUG AWARENESS MEETING HELD AT HAYATH COLLEGE
Police Officials Urge Students to Stay Alert Against Online Frauds and Drug Abuse
HYDERABAD, AUGUST 11, 2026:
A significant Cyber Crime Awareness & Anti-Drugs Awareness Meeting was organised by the Central Peace & Welfare Committee, Rajendernagar Zone, at Hayath Junior & Degree College, Hafez Baba Nagar, Hyderabad, on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.
The awareness programme was organised with the objective of educating students, Peace Committee members and the community about the growing threat of cyber crimes, online frauds and drug abuse.
The programme was convened by Mohammed Waseem Sir, Director, AD International Group of Schools, whose coordination and efforts played an important role in making the programme successful.
ACP SUDHAKAR EXPLAINS CYBER SAFETY MEASURES
Addressing the gathering, Sri A. Sudhakar, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Chandrayangutta Division, gave a detailed explanation about the different forms of cyber crimes and online frauds. He advised students and the public to remain extremely cautious while using mobile phones, social media, banking applications and other digital platforms.
The ACP stressed the importance of protecting personal information, avoiding suspicious links and messages, and immediately approaching the police whenever they encounter cyber fraud or suspicious online activity.
SHO BALARAJU CALLS FOR VIGILANCE
Sri J. Balaraju, SHO, Kanchanbagh Police Station, also addressed the gathering and explained how citizens can protect themselves from cyber crimes and cooperate with the police in combating such offences.
He urged students to remain vigilant and to share awareness among their families and friends so that cyber criminals do not succeed in exploiting innocent people.
The programme also highlighted the serious impact of drug abuse on students and young people and stressed the importance of awareness, counselling, family support and cooperation with law-enforcement agencies.

Speaking on the occasion, Khaja Ghaziuddin, President, Central Peace & Welfare Committee, Rajendernagar Zone, expressed his special appreciation to Mohammed Waseem Sir, Director, AD International Group of Schools and Convener of the Programme, for his dedicated efforts, coordination and contribution towards organising the important awareness programme.
Khaja Ghaziuddin also expressed his appreciation to Sri A. Sudhakar, ACP, Chandrayangutta Division, and Sri J. Balaraju, SHO, Kanchanbagh Police Station, for participating in the programme and providing valuable guidance to students and community members on cybercrime prevention and anti-drug awareness.

A large number of girl students of Hayath Junior & Degree College actively participated in the programme and benefited from the awareness session.
The programme concluded with a strong call for collective responsibility, vigilance and awareness to prevent cyber crimes and protect the younger generation from the dangers of drugs.
The organisers expressed their commitment to conducting more such awareness programmes in the future for the benefit of students and the wider community.
