-Accident Insurance Scheme for Govt Employees

•All serving govt employees and pensioners in Telangana will be covered.
•No premium will be paid by employees.
•In case of accidental death, ₹1.2 crore compensation will be paid.
•For natural death (up to 60 years), ₹10 lakh term insurance will apply.
•5.19 lakh regular employees and 2.38 lakh pensioners (total 7.57 lakh beneficiaries) will be covered.
•The scheme will be implemented through bankers without financial burden on employees or the government.

2. Cashless Employee Health Scheme (EHS)

•Covers 3.56 lakh employees, 2.88 lakh pensioners, and their dependent family members (total 17.07 lakh beneficiaries).
•Treatment will be completely cashless.
•Applicable in all government hospitals and 652 empanelled private hospitals.
•1,998 medical procedures covered.
•Digital Health Employee Cards will be issued.
•Implemented through Rajiv Aarogyasri Health Care Trust.
•Employees contribute 1.5% of basic pay; the government matches the contribution.
•Annual outlay: ₹1,056 crore (₹528 crore each by employees and government).

3. Health Sector Reform

The Cabinet approved converting Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad (TVVP) into the Directorate of Secondary Health (DSH).
•TVVP will move from autonomous status to a full-fledged government department.
•Faster procurement of medicines and surgical supplies.
•Improved salary disbursement and better healthcare delivery.

4. HMDA Expansion

Four villages in Vikarabad district—Chittiguda, Yavapur, Tekulapalli, and Enkatala—will be included in the jurisdiction of (HMDA).

5. Road Infrastructure – CRMP Phase 2

Under the Comprehensive Road Maintenance Programme (CRMP Phase 2):
•300 km of additional roads will be developed and maintained, over and above the existing 744 km in Phase 1.
•₹3,145 crore approved from (GHMC) funds.

6. Water Supply Modernization
•₹722 crore approved for modernization of Manjeera Water Supply Scheme Phases 1 & 2.
•₹282 crore sanctioned for modernization of Osman Sagar drinking water pipeline.
•The upgrade will reduce 30% transmission losses and improve water supply in Hyderabad.

7. Hyderabad Metro Takeover

The Cabinet approved the takeover of the 69 km Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase 1 from Larsen & Toubro (L&T).
•Estimated takeover cost: ₹15,000 crore including liabilities.
•Asset value estimated between ₹19,000–22,000 crore.
•Phase 2 expansion to be accelerated.
•Total proposed expansion: 76.4 km (Phase II A) and 86.1 km (Phase II B).

8. Logistics, Education & Institutional Land Allocation
•223.09 acres allocated for Multi-Modal Logistics Park and Food Processing Park in Koheda, Rangareddy district.
•239 acres allocated for a world-class Fruit Market.
•Land allotted for engineering colleges under JNTU and Satavahana University.
•Land allocated for 21 Young India Integrated Residential Schools across multiple districts.
•5 acres allocated for a Greenfield Mini Stadium in Bhadrachalam.
•20 acres allotted for a TTD temple in Khammam district.

9. Housing & Urban Development
•Approval for auctioning shops constructed near double-bedroom housing units in Cure Area.
•Special drive for construction of Indiramma houses in rural and urban areas.
•Efforts to secure maximum central funds for housing projects.

10. Clean & Green Energy Policy

The Cabinet approved issuance of renewable energy distribution licenses for data centers consuming 300 MW under the Clean & Green Energy Policy.

11. Census 2027 Preparations

The Cabinet reviewed preparations for Census 2027.
•First phase (House Listing Operation) from May 11 to June 9.
•34-question format prescribed by the Centre.
•89,000 enumerators and nodal officers to participate.
•Second phase to be conducted in February 2027
