Mohammed Waseem Raises Public Concerns Before DCEB Hyderabad Secretary Sri Jaya Chandra — Appreciates His Positive & Cooperative Response
HYDERABAD, 29 AUGUST 2026:
A delegation led by Mohammed Waseem, General Secretary, Anna Hazare Foundation and Telangana State President, International Human Rights and Media Organisations, today met Sri Jaya Chandra, Secretary, DCEB Hyderabad, and strongly represented the genuine concerns of applicants regarding the delay in DCEB signatures and submission of the required pro-forma.
Mohammed Waseem brought the matter directly to the attention of Sri Jaya Chandra and explained the practical difficulties being faced by applicants. He pointed out that due to holidays, official meetings and other administrative responsibilities, some officers were unable to complete the signature process within the earlier timeframe, creating difficulties for applicants who were required to submit their pro-forma within the stipulated period.
MOHAMMED WASEEM REQUESTS EXTENSION IN THE INTEREST OF APPLICANTS
During the detailed discussion, Mohammed Waseem requested Sri Jaya Chandra, Secretary, DCEB Hyderabad, to consider the genuine difficulties of the applicants and provide additional time for completion of the pending formalities.
Mohammed Waseem emphasized that the request was made in the interest of the concerned applicants, so that nobody would face unnecessary hardship because of administrative delays beyond their control.
He was accompanied by Syed Abubaker Bin Jaffer, Joint Secretary, Anna Hazare Foundation and Telangana State Vice President, International Human Rights and Media Organisations, who also participated in the detailed discussion and supported the representation.
SRI JAYA CHANDRA RESPONDS POSITIVELY
Sri Jaya Chandra, Secretary, DCEB Hyderabad, patiently heard the representation made by Mohammed Waseem and the delegation.
Recognising the genuine circumstances explained by Mohammed Waseem, Sri Jaya Chandra responded positively and took a cooperative, considerate and public-friendly approach.
Following the discussion, the last date for submission of the required pro-forma was extended to 31 AUGUST 2026.
Sri Jaya Chandra also requested all concerned persons to utilize the extended opportunity and submit the required pro-forma within the extended deadline.

Mohammed Waseem expressed his sincere appreciation to Sri Jaya Chandra, Secretary, DCEB Hyderabad, for patiently listening to the delegation and responding positively to the genuine concerns raised.
Mohammed Waseem stated that the positive response demonstrated by Sri Jaya Chandra reflects the importance of cooperation, accessibility and understanding genuine public difficulties in administration.
