TPRSMA Declares Holiday in Solidarity with Students Amid NEET Protest

The Telangana Private Recognised School Management Association (TPRSMA) has appealed to all private school managements across Telangana to declare Friday, 24 July 2026, as a holiday in solidarity with students protesting over the alleged NEET paper leak issue and the ongoing demonstrations at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi.
The decision was jointly announced by Anwar Sir, President, TPRSMA, and Mohammed Waseem Sir, General Secretary, TPRSMA, expressing the association's unwavering support for students demanding transparency, accountability, and fairness in the examination system.
Addressing the media, Mohammed Waseem Sir, who is also the Telangana State President of IHMO (International Human Rights and Media Organisation), said:
"Students are the backbone of our nation's future. Their voices deserve to be heard, and every examination must be conducted with complete transparency, fairness, and integrity. TPRSMA stands in solidarity with students and urges the authorities to ensure justice and restore confidence in the examination system."
Meanwhile, Anwar Sir, President, TPRSMA, reaffirmed the association's full support for students and appealed to all private school managements across Telangana to observe the holiday call without exception as a mark of solidarity with the peaceful nationwide student movement.
The association emphasized that maintaining the credibility of competitive examinations is essential for protecting the future of students and preserving public confidence in the education system. TPRSMA further urged the concerned authorities to conduct a fair and transparent investigation into the alleged irregularities and to implement strong measures to ensure the integrity of future examinations.
The holiday declaration has been welcomed by several private educational institutions and school managements across Telangana, reflecting their support for students seeking justice and a transparent examination process.
TPRSMA reiterated that education must always be based on merit, transparency, accountability, and equal opportunity, and reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding the rights and interests of students.
